Recommend a PCI-e TV Tuner
So, I'm getting rid of my 32" tube TV to get a 27" monitor. Played GT5 in HD, and just couldn't go back
. So, I'm looking into getting a TV Tuner card, for cable signal, for my PC because the monitor doesn't have a coax input and am too cheap (especially with football season basically over) to pay for a HD receiver so I can use a HDMI cable instead.
Does anyone have anything that they can recommend? I don't need anything fancy to record TV or anything, just something that can convert the coax signal to either DVI or VGA and hopefully split the video/audio because monitor speakers suck, so I'll be hooking the audio up to an old pair of PC speakers. Preferably PCI-e, not USB, since the monitor will always be hooked up to my tower, so I'll never need the ease of USB, and it's kind of annoying having something stick out the back of my computer when it could just be internal. Remote is optional, since wireless mouse/keyboard should be sufficient for changing channels.

dont count out USB tuners.
i've had a vista machine setup as a DVR for over 2 years now. 24/7.
it came with an internal happauge card. wanted a second ATSC tuner. bought a noname USB tuner. been working a like a charm, except for those times when window decides to take a dump and i have to reboot... lol...
and trust me. if you are using the windows media center, YOU WILL WANT the add-on usb I/R receiver and the remote that goes with it.
