Thumbs down RavSpec Customer Service

I've ordered some parts through RavSpec on Jan 13 2006 and Mark said he would ship it ASAP and I would have my tracking number the next business day. So then a week passed I was wondering if my product has been shipped so I emaild them and then he tells me my order hasn't been shipped and he already took my money. So I think he just stole my money... I sent him emails to follow up on my order, but I yet wait to recieve an email back or a tracking number to this day. Has anyone else uncovered this kind of service before? Is Ravspec a good vender to go with? I just don't want other suby owners to deal with this BS. RavSpec has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Have you called the phone number listed in RavSpec's vendor ads to speak with someone? I wouldn't rely on email as a way to resolve transaction disputes. Talk to them. Maybe they have a good explanation as to why you didn't receive a tracking number. If the order has not yet been shipped, ask them if it's possible to receive a refund if you are still unhappy.

11 days is not a long time. I've waited weeks longer than that for an order placed with another vendor. I called to find out the order status and they admitted that they forgot to send it out when the backordered parts came in. It was no big deal to me. I received the parts shortly thereafter. All was well.

Usually aren't they supposed to charge your card when they actually ship the item? Unless it's a special order part and you paid a deposit on it ahead of time.

i never had problems with them either. great to deal with over the phone and gave me a good price.

The thing is that I called before also thats how I found out he never sent my package ,and Mark knew he didn't send it on the day he said he would and didn't notify me. He keeps on saying things to me and never fufilling it. In my emails I also have a receipt if he reads them. All my reciepts say that my emails have been read, but he never respond.... It may seem that I'm being impatient ,but it's not that. I just would have like to been notified if my package hasn't been sent, and to be treated as a customer and not be avoided. It's the fact that he doesn't repsond back to me and keeps on avoiding me no matter what I do. Maybe it's just me.

It sounds like you are really unhappy with RavSpec. Unfortunately, none of us work for RavSpec (that I'm aware of). The best way to obtain a refund is to call RavSpec. Tell them what you think of their service. Since they have shown you such disrespect and lack of consideration as a customer, there is no point in waiting any longer. I would call them today and demand a refund, as Lurk has suggested.

Here is RavSpec's phone number, in case you don't have it handy: 631-586-3520. I found it on their web site along with this text below their email form:

"Thank you for visiting our site. We are here to help you in anyway we can. We want to provide the best online shopping experience for our customer. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please call us."

Obviously, your shopping experience has fallen way short of satisfactory so I hope RavSpec takes care of you and refunds your money quickly.

I would give them a call and talk to him personally and ask what is going on, I know its easy to feel ripped off when they have your money and you have no product but its normal for them to charge your card up front, there is probably a issue with something you ordered and it was not in stock.
just give them a call it will ease your mind forsure once you hear it from them what is the hold up. oh yeah and don't be mad when you talk to them unless they give you a hard time.

After many sent and read emails and this Thread Mark from RavSpec responded back to me. He Explained what is happening and promises me AGAIN to send My order by the end of this week. Now for the misconvience of customer service Mark is going to send a complementry GREDDY Shift **** along with my order. Hopfully he isn't lying. We'll see I'll wait for the end of the month.

I was just informed that MARK from RAVSPEC has just tried to change my order and send it to me. Now that he has tried I will just be getting a full REFUND for my order WHICH I better recieve. His customer service is CRAP!!!! Thanks for the concern I-club.
