Angry Rant: Spandex wearing a-holes (cyclists)

Damn cyclists, stay in your ****ing lane. I was driving up Folsom-Auburn today and these damn cyclists are going 3 and 4 wide on the side of the road, way into the car lane. I HATE getting stuck behind these pukes. PULL THE F OVER AND LET CARS GO BY!!!1!!1111 I don't swerve into your lane un-announced like you do to me and other motorists. The roads were built for MOTOR VEHICLES, not your gh3y *** bikes. Stick to the bike trails where you belong. /rant

techinically, cyclists are viewed as motor vehicles and must obeyed all laws set for them.

but when there is a specific bike lane, they must stay within that.

you should have honked at them and told them that they should stay within the bike lanes.

(a cyclist myself...)

Every once in a while I go road biking with my friend who is way into it, and we are smart enough to stay all the way to the inside and when I see a guy out of his lane it is dangerous for everyone, him, me and the other bikers so I give him the happy hawaiin sign and tell him in a calm voice to return to his F***** lane ! Common sense rules the world, or it should at least. Cheers

Yeah, some of them **** me off as well. I do respect their effort to keep in shape and all, but some of them are just selfish.

As soon as a cyclist pays registration to the state like I do for my car, I will give them the same right of way as a motor vehicle. Until then, they get the Supertones.

it's easy to be brave when you're in a 3000 pound car. i've been thrown at and swerved at many times on my bike when i'm doing my best to stay away from cars. the problem is drivers getting mad at the small portion of cyclists who behave like idiots and taking it out on the many others. try not to profile all cyclists; most of us just want to get home alive.
