btw, go Niners... beautiful day at the Stick to see the Niners roast the lambs.

true that on both accounts....I was blown away.

But I think they really like Walters. 6'6" 230. Good arm. Smart. Too similar to lienart.

They actually drafted pretty well. they needed what they got.

bush is the **** though. I tried to trade for him on madden 07. I offered my first THREE draft picks and they passed. They wanted Randy Moss AND a first round pick for him.

Nah....I get about 180 a game flopping vargas and jordon. Moss is too import to my stretch game.

Plus I'm like 7 games in now.

I switched to the hall of fame deal for now.

I might start my franchise over and go for it.

my buddy and I have been talking about the younger since they drafted him. Dude knows how to win. He's gonna be good. I'd rather sit through a season of building that one of waste.

Mix it up a little. The pass will help jordon get going and then when he gets going he'll help the passing game get going.

it's hard to do anything when the defense knows what you're gonna do.

One good thing....the defense looked pretty good yesterday. Even big Sapp.

If they start mixing jordon and fargas up and start using their very talented WR's and TE's they could do ok this year.....maybe close to 8-8.

Don't understand why you would throw so many ***** to whitted though. That dude stinks.
Stop kidding yourself, 8-8, thats one of the funniest things I have heard in a while. They are worse then in 9ers of 2 years ago. They will not win a single divisional game, they might get lucky against the 9ers, rams or Cardnials. I really cant see how they could win more then 2 games, maybe 3.

Al Davis has proved 2x now that he does not care about football, but rather income he can generate from his team. actually what is pathetic is a fan not going for "his" team just because the greedy *** owner decides to make a quick buck and move. all teams have thier ups and downs and yes, right now the raider suck. lets get that out of the way. but i am a raider fan. unlike some other "fair weather" fans, i don't pick "my team" based on thier current record. i stick with them through thick and thin. i remember back in the day when EVERYONE was a 9er fan. Then when they started losing, all of a sudden there were a whole bunch of "new" packer or cowboy fans, what a joke! yeah, my team is 0-2. but no degree of smack talking is going to stop me from rooting for them in the next game.

Thats interesting cuz I have season tickets to the niners, and Ive been to all but 2 games the last 2 years since I got back from school. So if you are trying to call me a follower, a bandwagoneer or a fair weather fan you got the wrong guy.

Whats pathetic is that you continue to show support for an owner that has shown no desire to win or even sellout games. As bad a John York was, he was never even close to the degree that Al Davis has been for years, and will continue to be for the rest of his life.

who roots for a team based on their owner? seriously, that would be like me saying, "uh, i used to like subarus...but the new c.e.o. is a d!ck so anyone who likes subarus now is dumb." everyone is an "armchair" owner and say how they would have done things different. davis has consistently sought after big names and young talented players (yes, with the exception of quarterbacks, and lately coaches) but to say that he is not interested in winning or selling out games is ridiculous. and i am not accusing you of being anything. the only thing i said is that there used to be a ton more 9er fans when they were winning and they all seem to dissapear when they are not doing so hot.

Owner and GM, he has a large part in what the franchise is all about, only he and Jerry Jones (maybe Dan Snyder?), are both owner and GM and both have thrown tons of money at talent with little to no results.

I should hope so, your franchise will never return to glory until he either passes or hires someone who knows what the F they are doing. This could be a long slow painful wait for Raider fans.

Im sure this has been done for other teams befor, but when I read it I was cracking up... and yes I am a Raider fan.

"Oakland Raiders football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Art Shell immediately suspended practice and called the police and federal investigators. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the "GOAL LINE". Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again!"
