no idea i just saw an ad in sportscar mag, with a pic so i posted. APS also has a gear sets. http://www.aps-wrx.com/wrx/gearbox/gearbox.htm give Santa Cruz Subaru a call they sell APS stuff. or Auto Innovations http://www.autoinnovations.com/

Straight-cut gears can get noisy also, are teh RA gears hardened helical, or hardened straight-cut?

i think they're hardened and heat treated helical gears. Kaaz offers a high strenght gearset of the 5MT with a straight cut 1/2 and helical 3/4/5.

The RA set is heated helical gears, they are not dog box gears.
we have gotten a few sets already, and one set is on our sponsored rally car. Just ask Platypus (Neil).

Get the RA gears, helical means easier shifting around town, and they work with synchros, not dog rings, also for more streetability.
