Quick Advice Please.. Snow, Sti and RSX
Headed to tahoe over I 80 tonight. they are expecting a little snow and temps will definetely be bellow freezing. i have two car options and need some advice.
My Sti on STOCK tires lowered on Prodrives (no room for chains if need be?)
or
My gf's Acura RSX.
Which should i take up there? I hear VERY bad things about stock sti tires in winter conditions, while hers is front wheel drive with all weather tires. Obv I'd rather take my car, but what do u guys think?!?!
Thanks!

yeah, RE070s will probably give 0 traction. Summer and all season rubber compounds are different, and with summer tires the rubber tends to harden in cold weather which will reduce the already little traction you have, while the all season rubber compound is more likely to resist that.
