Hey guys, I'm considering buying a new phone right now, and I know that there's a a number of you who know about cell phones and stuff. I got T-Mobile, and I sold my Sidekick 2 to help finance my trip to Vietnam. What would be a good phone to get? I enjoy the lil voyeurisms that a camera phone has, but I got a decent shirt pocket sized camera, so that's not really needed. The Sidekick spoiled me with AIM and Yahoo on it, so I'm interested in a phone with web capabilities. Other than that, size doesn't really matter, anything that can be smaller than the Sidekick is worth it. I'm just not looking for a full featured phone again, so no Treos, no Blackberrys, and I'm not going to buy another Sidekick. And a price range that's under 200 would be nice. Anybody got any suggestions?

 

I dont know if you want to switch plans... but cingular or verizon have deals where you buy one of their 2-year plans or something... then you can get a really nice phone with a camera for like under 50 bucks.


Thats what I did.. but i just got my plan renew'd and got one of those decent color screen phones that come free with it.

It might be a while for the V635. I don't think that Cingular has decided on carrying yet. I was also waiting on that one but it seems that I might have to get it online for around 200.
