Question about EDM lights

I know that you're supposed to use the ***** to adjust the beam, but it seems like mine don't work. My left light is aimed too high, and I've tried the lower **** but it seems like no matter what I do to the **** it doesn't change the beam angle. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I never had to adjust mine. I remember you needing some kind of tool to do it right, but I don't remember what it is.

i believe you can use 8mm socket/rachet to adjust it.

There's two ***** on my jdm lights, one that moves it up and down, and one that moves it left to right.

Are you running 02-03 headlights? Use a phillips heads screw driver and be sure not to over torque it. Inside the housing there is a small plastic rod that pushes against the adjuster attached to the reflector. I had the same problem like a month ago and had to bake my headlights, take them apart and reassemble it. The only way I knew something was wrong besides the obvious was when I pull the head light off I shook it and heard something rattling inside. I hope you have better luck than me though.

i thought you didn't have to adjust EDM, just JDM? i could be wrong though, but that's why I thought people bought EDM in the first place

you might have unscrewed or overscrewed it too much causing the 8mm plastic adjusting nut to 'unclip' itself from the projector. take your head light out and take a closer look at it.
when you adjust the lower 8mm nut you should be able to see the projector move up and or down a little bit. if not you proabbly need to take a look inside.
