In CHP Thats not correct. Thise are DOT officers. They use white slick backs to enforce laws with truckers.
The DOT guy is worse. All his job to do all day is to inspect vehicals. I would hate the day I get stopped by a DOT officer.
Something must have been up to see him or owner was just lucky

One week after I moved to Elk Grove I was pulled over by 2 patrol cars and 2 bikes. I got a ticket for my HKS Carbon-Ti. I took it to the state ref and passed at 95dbs.

the cops in my town would be so lost on what to look for it would be hilarious...since i live in such a small town where nothing happens i would prolly have the whole force out there tryin to decide wats stock and wats not...they have nothing better to do

a month into having my stock 2.5 RS, i was asked to pop my hood, i smiled when i saw a K&N sticker on my airbox. and a bunch of stock plastic and stocky stockness. The CHP still looked around my engine for like a whole minute.

^yeah, you would think having sticky tires and nice suspension and brakes, youd be allowed to make your car go faster, since you can out maneuver 99% of the cars on the road.

From what the cops told us the other night at wingstop they dont have to care if your car is below 95 or at 95.Coming from his mouth He said if the individual officer thinks its annoying they can write you up lol. cus the STATE law states you can't modify your car. He said if they cant get you on sound the cop can get you on "modified exhaust" and give a ticket for that instead of sound. I find there could be more issues they can go give tickets for instead of exhaust tickets and no front plates but i guess they are bored and have nothing better to do.
