PSA Check your spare tire pressure
PSA Check your spare tire pressure
Just a PSA reminder to check the tire pressure of your spare tire.
just think when the last time you even saw it? Hopefully you won't ever need it, but like that last two times I did, the spare was flat......
So save yourself some headache and check it maybe every oilchange or tire rotation. It'll be worth it someday down the road.

With a donut spare you break out the jack, change the wheel and are -gingerly I admit- but back on your way in what maybe 15 minutes?
pack a full sized spare and you are back underway without needing to hold back.
I'll keep a spare or two handy unless I'm on an auto-X or track day, and even then I'd have a spare at the paddock- thanks.

I will never remove my spare to "save weight" on the street

Why would we need to save weight on our daily drives if none of us are street racing?
