Any suggestions?

Im mainly considering getting one to play Cod4 online, and I hear that the PS3 runs it better with better graphics. And not to mention you can play online for free.

Here are some things i can think of, but not sure if are true.
-Ps3 has Blu-Ray
-metal gear solid is coming out on ps3
-xbox360 has more players on Xbox live than ps3 online.

any suggestions or tips??

As a owner of a gaming PC, wii, XB360, and a PS3... i highly recommend the PS3. Alot of great games are coming exclusive to it plus its has Blu-ray. Its money well spent.

That's a really good deal. Plus you can watch all the bluray discs you want with Netflix.

 

I got a Wii when they first came out and couldn't be happier. It is a great system to play with friends and just enjoy simple games. However, I am planning to purchase a PS3 soon, to replace my PS2. I have played several games on the PS3 and couldn't be more amazed. The graphics are unreal and it has a lot of potential. Online gaming is free. If there really is that bundle for $400 then I am so going to get it.

I own both ... and play COD4 on both... ive noticed that xbox doesn't lag as much as the ps3, and it also doesnt get you booted out of game like the ps3. PS3 graphics by far cleaner and look so much nicer. Groundwar 9 on 9 on ps3 seems to lag out or game ends ALOT while xbox really doesn't log out very often. If you can deal with gettin booted somewhat often but dont wanna pay the 50bucks a year for internet get the ps3

 

Do you listen to Live 105? On their morning show they had this guy from www.gottgame.com , and he annouced the possibility that this will happen. But not until the Summer. So if you can wait, I'd do it. I have a Wii right now and will be buying a PS3 to replace my PS2. But first comes an upgraded TV so I can use the PS3 properly.

 

I use my ps3 more than the xbox. The only thing that bugs me are the longer loading times, but the exclusive games that are about to come out is worth it.
wii > ps3 or xbox

You can't go wrong with either system. I'll be using the xbox for soul calibur though. Forget darth vader, it's all about yoda!

 

i just like xbox control better. i can never get use to PS controller, ever since the first one. the thumb stick just doesnt work good like the xbox.

i think xbox is better on action games like shooting and sports. PS is more like RPG or those types of games. even though the GT5 and all the GT is on PS, but i do rather play driving games on xbox.
