Still, you're driving 5 (or 101). It's not Tahoe in mid-winter with the gravel sandblasting that it'd take. Hell, you're just as likely to get a stone chip driving around normally.

I would think a bra would be liable to do a lot more damage than a pebble.

ps unless you are rallying, rallycrossing, or offloading a drive to LA and back (~800 miles) nothing will happen.
i drive mine all over the state for work. more damage comes from gravel roads than farting down the freeway

I took my BRZ down to LA less than a month after taking it home, with no tape/bra/anything, and I was fine. If I did get any chips, they were so small I didn't even notice them. The bugs that tried to make themselves a permanent part of the bumper though, that's a different story.

I guess all you need to take is front hood/fenders like
if you would go on an AutoCross.

 

Quit *****ing and just drive the damn car. Paint doesnt last forever.
