I must've heard every single justification for prop 8. All of it seems silly to me. I don't mind religious folk, but don't shove it down my throat to make a point and tell me it'll make a bunch of little kids gay. Seriously.

There is no justification. The only argument is that it is immoral, that is an opinion based on religion which has no place in government, and that churches would lose their tax exempt status, well if they discriminate against gays they should lose their tax exempt status. Marriage is not a religious thing, it is a legal thing, and we as californians have denied a large group of our fellow californians rights they are entitled to that we take for granted.
