Exclamation Problems with new STI tranny/engine mounts

A couple weeks ago I had Gruppe-S install STI engine/tranny mount combo on my car. Right after I noticed when shutting off the car there was this squeaking noise. Ok I thought maybe cause theres less movement it can only squeak instead of shake around. Now after turning the car on I get this buzzing vibration noise and it seems to be getting worse, also the squeaking noise can now be heard when I drive over small bumps and not only when I shut the car off. Do the mounts need to be torqued down again or what?? I've made alot of shifts up near redline since the install.... any ideas??

Harder mounts will definitely increase NVH in general (noise/vibrations/harshness). If it's changing or getting worse, I'd make them look at it again, that's why you pay a shop!

Good luck man.

Yea, at first it seemed like a stiff vibration, now it seems to be a loose vibration.

K well I gave Gruppe-S a call, looks like I'll stop by on Friday before I go to class to have them check it out.

EDIT: Ha, you beat me to it.. thanks Mike. See you on Friday around 10am, later.

After i installed sti group n engine and tranny mounts i didn't notice any squeking. With the engine mounts i noticed slight vibrations at idle because of the stiffer mount but never any audible noise.

I think davon said "after I installed" ... the secret price is $0.
