hey guys.. i just came back from LA i was wondering would Downpipe effect the car... well i have a broken bolt in my midpipe and downpipe and yesterday when i was driving back from LA i only got 200 miles out of a full tank.. usually i get 350 miles from a full tank would that broken bolt that cause a little leak cause this problem? im not sure whats wrong

 

wow 150 miles difference, but usually the downpipe wouldnt make a difference it's the way you step on your gas, the broken bolt might cause a little leak thus having to apply a little more gas to go but shouldnt make 150 miles in a tank difference, maybe you need a tune up, change some filters. hope that help

 

A precat leak would tell the 02 that you're lean, thus fattening up the mixture (rich) and using more fuel.
