Prius with DIY windmill

Saw this the other day in sunnyvale on central expressway.

I'm sure they're just screwing around to see what they could accomplish.

But I really doubt the laws of entropy would make this contraption worthwhile, especially since it's not windy around here much. The greatest benieit would be lateral winds, I'd guess... and maybe capturing some cruising air flow. Doubt it would outweigh the detriment to aerodynamics though.
