"18x7.5" wheels. you gotta be an idiot to spend 30k, and still get a car with such shi**y parts.

huh? Looks pretty decent. I love the rear defuser ala 2006 STI. Wing look better than the comparable EVO/STI wing. I think the front end is a bit aggressive. Love the wheels.

I like the 2006 SI in general. It is not slow at all. Haters should go and test drive on (that is, if you look old enough the salesman won't think you're a dumb kid)

I raise an eyebrow when people mock supposedly lesser cars. The majority of people on i-club have at best catless WRX's, and the majority of those are untuned. And those are pretty f'ing slow by 2006 standards.

What do you consider "2006 standards?"

Probably the Honda Accord V6 or Toyota Camry V6, both almost trapping 100 mph in the 1/4.

New cars are pretty darn quick in a straight line now-a-days... Heck, since when do Civics run low 15s stock? For a fricken economy car? And let's not get started on the Mazdaspeed 3.

But I'd still take my awd in Tahoe over those other vehicles anyday.

That's on the straight line. I don't live my life a 1/4 mile at a time. Haha. My own standard for a good car is one that's comfortable, looks nice, and is fun to drive (that has a well designed suspension system with a decent powerband to go with it).

Ive owned more civics then most people have have owned any combination of cars, I think they've all been great and I dont think you would find anyone trying to make the case that the new Civic SI isnt a decent car thats probably fun to toss around. For $20K.

But offering $30K for one is just absurd, I dont care what magical Japanese company put their name on the parts, at $30K your just in a whole different class and theres just way too many better choices, many for alot less money too.
