anyone see the mugen civic R on spike last night?
I'm still lmao... These guys spent $48,000.00 on a civic to give it a wopping 240 hp and 145lbs of torque.
All the time and effort and it only pulls a 6.1 0-60 and 14.3-ish quarter mile.
Sure it probly handled great, but you know what kind of car you could build for $50 grand!?
A car with some cajones to start.

i was watching that just last night too. King motorsports spent 48k because everything was brand new and had a mugen tag on it. In the honda world mugen = $$$. Also they imported the r motor and tranny which costs mucho dinero. If they were to substitute the mugen parts for cheaper but just as well parts, they would've had a much cheaper car.
