OneMan: Hahahah! That's not *why*... I've just been along for EVERYTHING that was involved this year. Everything. So, I know alllllll about the meet.
That's all. Took offense? Nope. Just wanted to tell you that it wasn't just what you saw. Sorry if you took my wording to be offensive, I merely meant what I said literally, not insultingly.

Yeah, I'm sending it in early august. They did end up having a Subie Sport Mag guy there though. He said he'll still take what I wrote and maybe use some of it.
I'm actually going to do a mostly historical write up on the meet. I was standing in the parking lot most of the day, so I missed out on whatever happened in the morning.

The first year we had the BBQ (3rd event) Daniel asked me about alchohol, my answer was no. As a car club, we should set the example for drinking and driving, and no have alchohol at Hami.
2004, Daniel asked again, I said no, he said we'll try it. We did, and it was fine. We didn't have big trash issues.
This year, people were just WAY out of hand, and littered like crazy. I can't believe how much **** I was picking up, and most of it was bottles (beer). Trash cans can definitely help.
Here is my suggestion for next year: In Feb we have Daniel pick up 9 people, forming a 10 person committe. Each person takes a share of something, and works on it. Meeting every month to check in, and by Junes meeting EVERY ASPECT of the event will be taken care of (to the best of the ability of the organizing members).
What say thou Ogreman?
