In the 1400's a law was set forth that a man was not allowed to beat his wife with a stick thicker than his thumb. Hence we have "the rule of thumb".
If you were to spell out all of the numbers, you would reach 1,000 before you would have a letter A in any of the numbers.

otherwise, i call BS on it.
all modern aircraft these days can "fly" without power once in the air. landing is white knuckles.
but they just dont drop out of the sky once they lose power. they all have glide capabilities.

if you ever add two odd numbers, you will always end up with a even number.

Interesting side note on this, they have opened Egyptian tombs and found honey that was just as pure and edible as the day it went in. It does turn to crystals, however all one must do is heat it up and it reverts back to a liquid because its hydroscopic

it's lift vs gravity. once the helo produces enough lift greater than its weight (gravity), it goes up.
want a helo to land, reduce power.
hovering is just a balance between the two forces.
the shape of the rotary blades of the helo is just like a fixed wing aircraft. as it spins in the air, their design causes the bernoulii effect. whereas the fixed wing goes in a horizontal path, the rotary wing works in a vertical one.
and yes, a rotary winged aircraft have ways to land in case it loses power too (google "auto rotation").

Where milk/creamer in coffee and tea started.
Some queen or princess (i will have to ask my wife which one later) had an issue with her china breaking when hot liquids such as tea were poured into the cups. So she had them pour some chilled milk in the bottom of the cup to keep the hot tea from directly contacting the china when it was first poured.

If the government has no knowledge of aliens, then why does Title 14,Section 1211 of the Code of Federal Regulations, implemented on July 16, 1969, make it illegal for U.S. citizens to have any contact with extraterrestrials or their vehicles?

I have 200 logged hours in fixed wing, and 3 hours logged in rotary wing aircraft (thanks to my uncle for taking me up)
Some day I will have enough money to go back and finish up my license

WRONG, we did a Myth busters show where we disproved that, but if you missed it some researchers in England have a pretty good website with MP3's and everything refuting the claim as well.
