As many reviews will attest, the CRZ is no CRX but it's the closest we've got today. As I kid I was in love with CRXs and Miatas. I always swore I'd own one someday (this is in the late 80's early 90's).
It's a fun little runabout. Not crazy fast but handles well and gets good mileage. On a round trip from Walnut Creek to Monterey (along with about 20 miles of spirited Carmel Valley driving in Sport mode) I averaged 40.1mpg.
It gets stares too. I had two sets of people ask to take pictures of it when I had it down at Cannery Row. Good stuff.
