I don't know where you are, but there are many options - hit up Gruppe-s and they'll pull the code and tell you what it means.

if you are towards Livermore I can pull/clear the code as well. I can use the OBDII software or my Access Port.

Cheers

Autozone still had it went down there and used it.. I pulled a mis-fire on plugs 1 and 3... What causes this it was upon start up that it popped.. I scheduled an appt with the dealer to get this checked and do the seat recall bs.. I reset it and all is well..

Most of the time its the 02 sensor that cause the check engine light to come on but it could be a variety of things like crank positioning sensor or even your muffler bearings

Just bought a used 03 WRX sedan yesterday with about 99XX miles on it. It has an aftermarket cat-back exhaust. So last night I was driving home from work, and my check engine light comes on. The car is bone stock except for the exhaust. Wondering if anyone can help me pull a code? I'm in Hayward, CA. If so, I would greatly appreciate it...=)

Appreciate you offering to help, unfortunately I have class tomorrow, I do have a break from 12pm-5pm (evening class starts at 5pm in San Jose). I scheduled an appointment with the dealer I bought the car from for Wednesday. If they are not able to help me with the check engine code, I'll definitely contact you. Thanks for your concern.
