You can set a "quick button" to get to a most used feature. Good idea, right? Well when you hit your quick button it asks you if you want to change its function before you use it. Each time you use your "quick" button you have to confirm that you don't want to change it. 2 clicks for the price of one. "Wow, an extra click, big deal", you say? Its supposed to be a "quick" button. And, this is the tippy tippidy tip of the iceberg. Changing the volume is different in different call situations. Imaging having to sift throug 4 layers of menus just to change the volume WHILE on the phone. I mean, I use an ear piece while driving so as to no have to take my hands off the wheel. But if its too loud I either risk an accident or a headache because it takes too much attention off the road to go through a few layers of scroll menus to then lower the volume. Believe me, it only gets worse.
I love Nokia's menus.

The menu's are completely stupid. Case in point:

And to LOWER the volume? During a call it wont lower the volume, it will start going through your phone book. Ah were there only a /ignore for posts on i-club. I guess I'll just have to do it myself

[edit] OMFG , playihg around I see you have to go UP and THEN DOWN and then whatever way you want to go. Holy ish... a volume button would have been great.

T616 sucks when its in Santa Cruz under cingular's towers, but thats about the only thing that i don't like about it. Places where i get reception on my old 8260 i get with the T616, its just that the reception sometimes isn't always as good indoors, as is the nature of the crappy american gsm systems.

I've got a T616 on ATT, and I like it alot. The GSM is great when it works; like Seraph said sometimes you lack GSM coverage in certain areas though... Not too big of in issue, IMHO, unless you're out in Sta. Cruz like Rockin!
Dunno if it's a big deal to you, but the camera is only so-so. Pics are kinda grainy, but hey it's a phone not a full-fledged digi-cam right? I'd recommend the T616, particularly now that they're fairly inexpensive.
