Poll: Wounded Warrior Project Fund Raiser?

A few years ago, working with fellow i-club members & staff, I helped gather donations to ship a care package off to a Special Forces group in Iraq.

I can't remember the exact amount, but I recall it was about $1500.
This was enough to buy & ship over 100lbs of America to the troops.
Baby wipes, cigarettes, chew, jerky, movies, etc.

Seeing that there might be some interest in raising funds for a disabled veteran's group, I'm willing to spearhead another fundraising effort.

Being a disabled veteran myself, this cause always hits really close to home.

Simply put, do you want to be part of a fundraising effort to help wounded/disabled vets?

100% YES. A helluva idea. I was in the Army, my older brother is still in the Army as a infantry officer (ranger, airborne, air assault, and a bronze star recipient from his 16 month tour). I would love to give back for all those guys who had to go in harms way. Sign me up.

This is the cause I'm thinking about raising funds for...but if anyone has any other group in mind, let me know!

Wounded Warrior Project.

Meet some of the Wounded Warriors.

Definitely a worthy cause to support. I would like to also suggest a couple of great organizations that have helped many wounded servicemen and their families.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation

And

Semper Fi Fund
