So with the navato place, do we have confirmation that we can actually rent the spot in which we will be occupiying? That way we have our privacy and NO ONE can just come to the meet and do whatever they want... I rent multiple picnic sights at hammy each year to ensure that we get most of the park. It gets a little pricey but has helped out greatly in the past otherwise we wouldnt have been able to occupy the rose garden, etc and I wouldn't have had the right to make those weird people leave out grounds every time they just crashed our ish... they didnt even belong to any club or own a subie, they just wanted free drinks, food, music, etc... I think Ive booted about a dozen people at least.

Anyway, thats VERY important to have! ! ! !

Yup, you can reserve it. All the details are on the site: http://www.co.marin.ca.us/depts/pk/m...taffordlke.cfm

also note that it's normally a $5 park entrance fee, but in the summertime/fall it's $8

i guess the area we want is #1 or #2 , they hold 300 peple "or more"

i love the last part of this line
"If you park outside the park, there is a $2 walk-in fee. We know a lot of people don't like this idea but if we don't pay the $2 they will make all of the streetside parking illegal. So if you park outside, please pay the $2. If you can't afford it, skip a beer."

Daniel, are you the one making the reservations and making the calls? I think you should call and ask your questions since none of us know what other questions to ask. You've done this before and have the most experience. You should be able to look up the phone number somehow.

I voted for the last choice since the Novato location wasn't an option, maybe that's what the last choice meant, but in disguise.

No, this thread was to smash Quarry Lakes from contention. There will be a new thread sometime between now and August with more viable options.

I hope there will only be location choices in the final poll, and not some goofy option where random people end up choosing an option that doesn't help determine the location (ie: the 3rd option in this current poll).
