I'm definently willing to donate a few bucks for the pup. I, like many here, have a special spot for dogs and love them to death regardless of breed and hate to see this happen. We all know its going to help the dog in some way and thats what matters! If you want to set something up please let us know. I know how hard it can be as well. My first dog I didn't even have more than a year and a half maybe and she developed some sort of lung cancer and I would have loved to kept her regardless of any condition, but we couldn't let her suffer the way she was

strangely enough aparently she just stood up and walked out of the room. First time she's stood since I brought her in off the porch.

I know Paul. I don't expect any money from you. I'm just hoping she makes it. I'll do my best to stay in the loop with the place we take her so if she recovers you'll have a shot at getting her if you still want her.

Thank you for the offer.

I really think getting her to the humane society with the onsite vet is the best thing we can do for her. She's on her way out to me right now.

Definitely try what Kyle said. Call a few vets. Also, if any local college/school has a Vet program, give them a call.

Good luck and I wish the best for Rosie and yourself. Please keep us updated.

the only two things i can think of that would cause that is chicken bones or some kind of poision like a lot of onions or rat poision...something thats poisionous to dogs.

i like Kevin's idea, those of us who have a few dollars we can spare should donate it towards Rosie, so at least she can go into a vet and they can see wahts wrong, if at the very least. i have a few bucks i can spare..... lemme know what you need

Man, she seemed pretty lethargic when we were down there this weekend. Wasn't acting like I would expect a puppy to be acting. Plus with that wound on her knee, it's tough to say what it could be. She definitely needs to get to a vet. Hope everything turns out alright cause she really is a sweet dog.

call around to every vet in the gwneral area and tell them whats going on. A lot of times when vets havea sick dog come in to be pit down they adopt the dog from the owner and help it get better and then find a home. A pit rescue group might be able to take her off your hands and get her the help she needs too

and set up a paypal account. I can donate a little $. A vet might be willing to let you do payments. Actually a lot of vets have info about some payment program company

I took her to a no kill humane society with an onsite vet.

I let them know what was going on and what my concerns where. They seemed like really nice people. The vet tech. made a point to tell me she'd be given every chance to survive.

It killed me but the local vets wheren't being any help. The only downfall is I had to surrended all rights to the dog.

I did what I felt in my heart was the best thing for Rosie and that was to give her a fighting chance. I will be checking up on her daily.

I loved that dog to no end.

Justin...she's always sleepy like that.

Should have seen her the night before she got sick. Her and rufus where playing around going nuts. She jumped strait over him several times. They ended laying down next to each other in the room and going to sleep...I took pictures. I saw them playing tug of war the other night and neither one wanted to give up. Rufus laid down and Rosie was pulling him around. Eventually she got tired and they ended up laying on the ground across from each other with the toy in their mouths until they both fell asleep..haaaa.

I did what I could. I can only hope they vet does the right thing. Destroyed all of us having to drive away from that place. All 3 of us cried. Jordon and I sat up and pretty much polished off all the beer in the house. Basically got hammered.

this thread makes me miss my dogs. My dog i got when I was a puppy got cancer, we brought it to the vet they removed the cancer and everything was fine. Then in the heat of the summer it started to go into seizures and it ended up having a stroke. We decided it would be best to put the dog down sad ****, hopefully the dog makes it out ok, and the place you brought it to will let you take it back if it recovers, best wishes
