Plan my company's retreat

The group I am working for is having a two day retreat and they are looking for ideas from the us. It's planned for early December and must be within a 3-4 hour drive of Palo Alto. Ideas that were tossed around included Tahoe, paintball, karting, Yosemite, and golf. Save me from two days of golf I-clubbers and tell me about a fun retreat you went on. Are there any 2 day driving clinics or something in the area? That might be an easy sell.

you're limited if it has to be within 3-4 hours of Palo Alto. If you want something relaxing, try googling: Asilomar

It's a nice corporate retreat styled area that my company goes to. we basically go to relax during the day but in the evening we go to a pub rent out the patio and drink and talk. Last year, two of my Indian employees that have never drank in their life was challenged to a beer chugging contest by two cougars - my guys won but were hung over the next morning

Ritz-Carlton at Northstar...We're here right now and it is awesome. Ski-in/ski-out access, killer spa, a couple good restaurants, and they have a gondola down to Northstar Village.

instead of paintball... try the real ones.

REEDS in santa clara can rent out guns.

same with TARGET MASTERS in milpitas, but i have a love/hate relationship with them so...

Not really a 2 day event without a training course

Alright, great suggestions i-clubbers!

I was day dreaming of Skip Barber, but that might be too expensive. Is there an equivalent karting 2 day course somewhere?

How about a rally-x school? Just covered one last month for a company in Hayward, held in Santa Rosa.

Links to the rally cross? I can't seem to find anything on Rallycross in the Bay Area that is still coming up.
