Place to recycle wheels in the South Bay?

Long story short, I have some wheels I want to throw away (you don't want them). Anyone know of a place where I can take them to get recycled?

Aluminum? I'd think pretty much any recycle center should take them if they are.

I recommend going to a good metal recycling facility. One that takes wires, raw steel and any metals. They normally give you 15 bucks or so per rim. Call around and check I would say. Dismounted tire will be a plus for you, a tire on there will ding you.

How much do they drop for a tire? Got a set of wheels that no one wants but they've got tires on them

Sometimes 5 bucks! They'll say disposal fee, blah blah blah and short you bad. Most tire shops will dismount the rims and tires for free if you ask.

i know a guy that recycles anything metal related. he pays $10/wheel and up and he comes to you to pick up as well but dont know if he is willing to travel down to los gatos where you live. PM me if you want his number. btw, he is legit, state certified. he also recycles catalytic converters if you have any.

I dropped off some stock Tundra wheels at a recycling plant years ago. I waited over an hour, and they paid me $2.50 for them. Not worth it.
