I might pick up some wheels and want to powdercoat the lip. Anyone know of any places besides wheel techniques in santa clara that doesn't charge an arm and a leg? Maybe i can get a paint shop to do it too. Any recommendations would be great.

Onizuka(charlie), ej20legacy(crucial jeremy), had thier rims done somewhere, hit them up

 

there was a place in the fremont/hayward area but i forgot what it was called. sorry for this useless post but i hope it helps somehow ahha.

Those of you who had them powdercoated, how much did it cost? I plan on doing just the lips. going to compare powdercoat prices vs. paint

 

the 4 wheels were 110 each, i picked a special color.

 

In Novato, right down the street from our shop there is a shop called "The Wheel Guy"...does great work. We've used him numerous times.

did they remove the tires themselves?

 

no, i had to go to get them dismounted and bring in the wheels only.

 

got mine done at maas brothers in livermore, couldn't be happier.
