Place to dump gas?

Does anyone know of a place to get rid of a few gallons of gas? I've had some in a container for the longest time *parts cleaning, mowers etc....* that I need to get rid of. In the south san jose area preferred

thanks,

Call your waste mgmt company (garbage collector), they may accept it. I know they take used oil, not sure about gas.

dude, if you are trying to pour gas onto an already lit fire, of course you are going to get burned.

I'd rather get rid of it legally

It's a few years old, so I doubt it's clean, but who knows.....I wouldn't take a chance on putting it in a car.

I'll give the waste management a ring and see what they have available.

i was thinking of getting a generator (you know, for when the SHTF type situtations) and i can mix semi good gas.

no need to throw away...
