ummm theres calavaras road, theres acually two calavaras roads. One is a small 1 lane road and the other is more open 2 lane road. Also there are some roads in niles. And Highway 9 but not many people like that since its more high speed and not so many sharp back to back turns. Mount Hamilton is the hardest i think. Long uphill road with many turns.

okay, since i just moved, i have no idea where you are talking about except for hammy. but hammy is too far. or maybe I was spoiled by all the roads in santa cruz. back then, soonest I get off campus, there are bunch of roads on my right, and that's only a minute drive from the parking lot to the start. heck, it took longer time for me to walk to my car than to drive to the starting pt! Anyway, I might just go drive around and see what I can find. I live near blacow and fremont. I can see the mountains close by from my place. I sure hope there are some crazy roads up there! Any more sugguestion? Thanks!

i live over in the kimber area off of mission blvd (now called mission hills) Theres not many roads acually in Fremont and the hills you are seeing are probably Mission Peak which is only hiking/biking trails. If you want to goto some good roads you have to drive like 20-40 min just to get to them.

o and who has a silver wrx sedan w/ bov that lives near gomes elementry school. My friend keeps telling me he sees it, he lives on chiltern.

vargas road/ morrison canyon

Ifyou like wrc type of roads there is always morrison canyon road. its off mission blvd, where walnut intersects it. this road is hariy and crazy so be careful. make sure to stop by the upside down plane up there....

cheers,

aaron

there aren't many twisties in Fremont. check out palomares road off of niles canyon (quick left turn before rr overcrossing). usually has some cyclists on it, but there are some winding sections. it drops you out in castro valley, but you can head east and come back to niles canyon via sunol road. it's nothing like you'd find off skyline in the s.c. area, but it's the best you'll get near Frizzmont. check a map for better directions.
