Pics from Thunderhill 11.13
What's up BAIC. I took my wagon up to Thunderhill last Friday and I was very pleased with the performance of my car even with this short Mod list: swift springs, Falken Azenis, 17" rotas, DBA 4000 Rotors up front, Hawk HPS brake pads front/rear. I had a great instructor (STi4WRC) who knew the track well and was patient with my n00b driving techniques. I even got to ride along in his STi
After the 2nd session I became very familiar and confident on track. I have to say turns 5 and 9 are some really fun corners. Can't wait to go back!
Thanks to STi4WRC, AUTOHQ, and Dan at SubyDude!
Enjoy the pics!

That's STi4WRC on my tail!

Nice pics! Gotbluemilk.com? They usually shoot the TEAM events.
I'll be up there instructing for the December event with my yellow wagon. Be sure to introduce yourself!

Gibbo, I'm glad you had a great day at the track. It was fun for me also. You were much improved from the start to the end of the day. Possibly the great instruction? I wish I would have secretly timed your 1st session compared to the last session. I'll bet at least 10 seconds a lap faster and much smoother. Of course I don't recommend first timers worry about lap times, just work on your lines and being smooth like we talked about. Remember relax the shoulders, and smooth imputs to the throttle and steeering wheel. I hope to see you guys at the track again sometime soon. It is always more fun with more Subarus there.

Team Racing was the event host, check 'em out at http://home.onemain.com/~bonster/ $235 for about 2 hours of track time. EDIT: December's track day is ONLY $160 if you sign up before 11/30 and $185 after 11/30. Not bad at all!
Thanks STi4WRC! Yea, for some reason my shoulders and whole body for that matter would tense up going into corners. Now that i have that experience under my belt, i won't be so nervous next time around. I'll definitely be out there again next month!

what was the weather like? no issues with overheating?
$235 for 2 hours.... shouldn't you get about eight-20 minute sessions (for a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes)?
Looks like a lot of fun!
