You're giving us about twice the credit we deserve . Our Outback blew its' head gasket in spectacular fashion after only about 45 minutes. The car was actually very hurriedly built as we were accepted as an alternate entry and didn't find out we were in till about 2 weeks prior to the race. That left us enough time to build the cage, and slap on a few cheap used parts and some touches scored from the dumpster . It left us absolutely no time to test the car, so we had no idea it would start to overheat almost instantly. Of course, our first driver was so busy maneuvering through traffic and passing everyone in sight that he never really looked at the temp gauge . The results were predictable.

We'll be back for the October race. I'm actually looking for a Phase II shortblock to get us rolling again. If anyone in NorCal or SoCal (we are in the LA area) has a decent condition block let me know.
