i kno...i was kicking myself for a long time. still do every once in a while. but that thing was in the shop like once a month. plus $200 for maintenance every 10k started to get rediculous. the last month i had it i spent $700 on maintenance and repairs and thats with a warrenty. lol. so i got tired of spending money on it and being without a car so often with it in the shop so much, no time for that. Subies are cheap, lol. i wish i could have got the limited but didnt want to spend any money out of my pocket, just what i got out of the S4. I kno im gonna end up with another s4 one day. i loved that car.

Yeah the A4 was nice to drive around but I was looking for something a little more exciting.

Where do you guys that live in the city go if you go to GTGs... looks like there are a few around the bay, cant really tell which is most active.

It's not a STi limited so it's not numbered, The WRX limited is just a trim option.

Hehe. That's what we all said when we first bought, but power for Subies is cheap and fun just like crack (j/k on the crack, but you get the picture).

I understand that all too well. My '01 S4 had many mechanical problems when I had it (passenger turbo failed, power steering rack died, etc). I had it on a 2-year lease, so everything was covered under warranty. Losing ~1.5 months of that term at the dealership was not fun, though.

I traded my '01 S4 in for an '03 WRX wagon. I'm on my 4th Subaru now, so don't think so negatively... You have a good/reliable car.

I was on Audiworld/Audizine too.

that sucks that you had problems too. my a4 never had any problems at all. and my buddy has a 2000 S4 and never has any problems. but mine just sucked, but i loved that car so much at the same time. nogaro with matching interior and 6spd and just.... :'-[

oh well tho. but you are right, the TR is a good reliable car and not high maintenance like the s4 and its fun. =]
