I find that in general Pet Food Express is a great place to look for pet products. The people that work there are knowledgeable and friendly, and they sell quality products.
So I take it your car isn't a land matinee?

for my cats, we buy our food at a local feed store, its about $17 for a 5lb bag, and with 3 cats it lasts about 2 weeks.

my cats do not do good on iams or other cheap foods. science diet is a different story... they're healthier, more active, and don't leave me presents behind the tv.

royal cain is the way to go for cat food. My cat would always puke every once and a while and its ****s were deadly now like open all the windows and hold your breathe deadly. Now they don't smell as bad and no more puking. They have lots of kinds for different cats also. I know they have a sensitive stomach one or one for digestive health. It is also sold at petco/petsmart so its not hard to get and is not too expensive.

Royal Canin is definitely the way to go. When I had my Diluted Calico we fed her that exclusively. She was super healthy, hella clean teeth, no kitty farts, and had hella energy. her colors were super bright for being diluted as well.

I have a 3 y/o male cat that only eats wet food, now. About a year and a half ago I had to take hime into the vet around 1a.m. cuz of the food we were giving him. The vet told me that it is common in male cats, when given certain dry foods, to get their little wiener blocked up with a sandy substance. So they put a tube in there and $675 later, he was back home. So I say stick with a wet food if it's a male, any food if it's a female.

My cat is a very loyal Subaru cat (pisses on Hondas in our driveway), but he's also loyal to Mitsubishi - as in Innova EVO diet. In addition to mice, gophers, and the occasional rat, he supplements his diet with an occasional can of 3NA - 1NA.

Absolutely NO PROBLEMS during that pet food scare a few years ago. Why? Because these guys WATCH the food source - definitely NOTHING outside the United States, and they were one of only a small handful of companies who could say that.

Cheap? No.

Quality? Absolutely. I trust this pet food company like I trust LIC Motorsports.

1. Feed a chicken/beef baby food. Yes, i mean Gerber, Beech Nut, Etc...its bland, and easy on the digestive tract

2. Try making regular kibble a soft, moist food....mix kibble with a little WARM water, wait to absorb, and see if he eats it....cats are very picky so dont lose heart if he shows no interest

3. Mix Esibilac (Kitten Milk) with kibble. coats the digestive tract. can be bought at any petstore.

If these do not seem to work, please PM me for more advice-If none of these work, it may be a serious problem that needs a second opinion from a less lazy veterinarian!!!!
kitten milk? that's a weird production plant to be in...

When we got our kittens they had similar issues. We fed them Iams I think and so we switched to EVO (high protein food at the Vets instruction) but it also didn't help. We switched to Purina One and the problems tapered off to almost non-existent.

We noticed their not so pleasant litter box deposits and their kitty farts decreased as they got older. A few weeks in and the problem was gone.

Our cats don't tolerate wet food too well though as they have bathroom issues if/when we give them some.
