Is pbr a Cali thing? Lol only people I ever saw drinking that beer in Oregon were bums or dirt poor peeps.. I don't get why it's a big thing here.

Seems like it, it's a pretty popular college choice here. I will say though the couple times I had it on tap and only payed 1$ for a glass, it actually wasn't so bad

PBR is not a "Cali thing" but the mindset that acting like a bum/dirt poor is cool is a Cali-hipster thing for sure.

With 250+ breweries in the state, most of those being craft beer breweries, good beer IS a Cali thing

I like "good", craft beer. But I also like PBR, its like Gatorade for when you're doing activities and need a good buzz. Its also 6 bucks for a 12 pack. A bar I frequented in college had it on tap for $1. Can't beat that when yo trying to get down Holmes.

Olympia has taken over PBR for me though. Its a little harder to find in my area.
