I'll take PBR over Budweiser Miller or Coors any day.
A craft beer it ain't. But I'm not taking 100 cans of Monk Brown ale on a camping trip to the delta

That mindset isn't just a California thing. Dirty hipsters are all over the country and quite honestly... the world. I saw quite a few in France. It was awful.

Haha.
Are you sure? I see hipsterdom as a choice, where as the French are just the French. I haven't been there in 10 years though.

Positive. We actually left a bar because hipsters started rolling in en masse. It was bad.

French hipsters! Not just regular French people.

PBR is loved by redknecks all over this country, it's like budweiser to a lot of the older generation too.

Smelly people on fixies is somehow worse than plain smelly people. Write that down.

French hipsters? Ouch! I'm glad to say I saw no hipster activity in Scotland... Just one more reason to move there.

Scotland is awesome. Especially the Highlands. They are great people when you are visiting, but don't think they will take you in as one of their own right away. lol

As for hipsters... there are a TON of "hipsters" around the world. Including Scotland. I mean... wherever there is an urban environment and/or a university there will be hipsters.

Oh and I recommend against wearing a kilt if you are an American and/or a douche bag. Some kid in my study abroad program found out the hard (ie. stupid) way that you shouldn't try to convince a Scottish man that you are "Scottish" just because you are wearing a kilt. As seen by me walking up to a pub and him literally being thrown out of said pub, movie style through the front doors. One of the funniest things I have ever witnessed.

On another note... I HATE chav's and Glasgow is dangerous as all hell...
