I did them myself and they look half decent. I need to redo one side because I made some mistakes but it's a good learning experience
Funny you mention that, because I should be getting my order from them tomorrow in the mail. A little pricey, but hey, I have enough paint for my sideskirts and front lip with some to spare for less than $100. If anyone's interested, i'll post up a pic when they are done.

I got two 12 oz spray cans of both base coat and clear coat from them along with some sand paper and rubbing compound. Since I don't have a day off for awhile, It probably won't be done for a good two weeks. But I will post pics.

spray cans? I'm curious to see this. I've plastic dipped my stereo before and that worked out fine.

Yeah there are a few DIY threads with spray paint, but i'm getting mixed reviews on if I need adhesion promoter or not. Half people say they have done it and it turned out fine without adhesion promoter and lasted for couple years and still looks good. They say the filler primer acts as an adhesion promoter to the plastic. Another group of people say that it is essential and won't stick at all onto the sideskirts.

Any advice if adhesion promoters is necessary with filler primer?

I would go with the adhesion promoter/paint prep since it won't hurt and you won't want to strip the paint and do it again if the paint along fails. You could also do the backside that won't show when mounted to see if it works without the prep.

that is one of the draw backs of having one of, if not the best color ever made for the WRX
