Painted Sideskirts

So I want to paint my stock black rough wrx sideskirts to color match my wrb car. Has anybody on here gone through the process? I called maaco they said "oh we won't paint anything for under $200 so it will be more." Idiot they paint whole cars for $400 I just want my sideskirts done, doesn't have to be the best paint job.

Anyways, suggestions on where/ how you got it done while staying relatively cheap?

(or if anyone has any wrb skirts fs or trade)

Group Buy Anyone?

It would be cheaper or the same to just buy some used ones and when you sell your car or something you can always re-sale them

You can also try to find someone who is either selling their car who already has them and try to swap with them and add some cash since they don;t effect the value of the car. I know its far fetched but another place you can look.

And painting is always a pain since it wont match your factory paint expecially because you car has 100k+ miles on it unless they blend it which would be even more and if you are going maaco GL!

Buy some brand new prepainted sideskirts from Subaru Genuine Pats.

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=253

I bought some WRB ones for my old WRX wagon and they were great.

The link I posted above is $230 (although when I bought them almost 3 years ago they were only $180 )

It would be hard to do a group paint job unless you all had the same color cars. I don't think a shop is going to be stoked on 5-6 different cars with small parts doing 3 different colors. But if a shop is down to do it I'll jump in on it. I really want STi side skirts though.
My friends boyfriend has a connection to a guy who can do it. He is going to do my car as soon as I save some cash. He is suppose to be completely legit and cheap. I can't imagine the side skirts wold be more than $100 to paint.
PM me and I can get some details for you if you are interested.

PM sent

Yeah, group buy is just to see if we even have enough people to actually be worth looking into, if enough are somewhat interested I will look into for sure. Otherwise, anybody else have any other suggestions?

www.paintscratch.com and get your paint code and buy some spray cans.

I did them myself and they look half decent. I need to redo one side because I made some mistakes but it's a good learning experience
