I've never been a Pirelli fan nor will I ever be. I'm a total bridgestone fan. S02pp and S03pp FTW!!!
S03's don't have MS ratings. If I wanted a max performance summer tire I would have gotten something different.

Pzeros do just fine in the dry. Not as good as tires like s03's, RE070's or 615's or other max performance SUMMER tires. But I don't recommend driving in the snow on any of those unless you're as crazy as I am.

My dad has P Zeros on his STi and says the same as you do. But do you notice that they track the rain grooves on highways a little too well? That's my dad's only real complaint with them. I, on the other hand, have BFG SuperSports on mine and I'm having the same "issues" as you do. I'm loving my SS though, their super grippy in the wet.

I had them on my car the past 3 years, they are ok but still not the best in the snow.

I haven't had any problems except, I don't think they can align PZeros. I had crazy inner tirewear when I went to Firestone, but with my RE960s, they've been fine. Newark also fixed my alignment from the crappy one I got from SoCal.

I've had good experiences at the Fremont and Hayward ones. Just out of curiosity, have you tried either of those?

Haven't tried either.

Tires shouldn't matter with alignment.

what specs did they do for you?
