Other than Pandora?
Are there any other Pandora like aps out there?
I'm getting tired of the... "are you still listening" messages and the damn commercials. Why do commercials ruin everything!

You could also try these apps:
iheartradio
Radio.com
It would be pretty cool if they just developed an "All Commercial" Channel. Put all the commercials on to one channel and then the rest can be free to play whatever they wanted.
For tv (or any type of video application) it would be nice if the commercials were just shown on the side bar or below the video (like a Sports or Stock Ticker) and the show/event could continue to stream. You would not miss out on any of the action that way.

That's why I like show time and channels like that. The programs are shorter but they just put all the ads at the beginning or end.

The "are you still listening?" keeps you from burning your 40 free hours a month by accidentally leaving it on when you're not listening
I know of Slacker and Last.fm but I haven't tried them yet

Because money drives the world. On my iPhone (unlimited data) there is no "are you still listening?" message. But there is the living social commercial every few songs.
On the computer, if you click somewhere in the pandora window within the hour, it won't ask if you're still listening.
