ROTFLMAO! well, atleast I now know I am not alone in my total hatred of these terrible inventions.....what I have always wanted to know is, Why in the hell dont these ppl just wear SUNGLASSES if the sun hurts their eyes? I dont get it....I have even seen those things in different colors, I have seen GREEN ones, BLUE ones, Yellow, and Orange, I work off of Berryessa in SJ right next door to the flea market, so I see asian ppl every Weds - Friday walking to the flea market wearing those things. It just makes me want to drive down the sidewalk and take them all out at once. GRRRRRRRRR, it just pisses me off visualizing ppl wearing those things.

Hahahahaha..... this thread. Yea I've seen Asian women driving around with these things on. Last one I saw it was around early evening not even bright enough to be wearing one.

Some lady at my old work wears one every day. Even in the building. She'd walk in with it on and would walk to her desk. I was like WTF is that stupid thing. I got everybody around me to laugh at her. Finally she stopped wearing it into the building.

 

<off topic rant>on FOBs or rather the use of the word FOB.

Look...people who wear these shields are just dumb b!tches. It has nothing to do with FOBness. Hell, many of them are Bimmer driving ABCs (American Born Chinese). What irks me more than people who wear these shields are Asians that slam other Asians for being FOBs. So you guys think you're so special cause you're born here and think it's funny to mock new immigrants. Hey...your parents were immigrants once too. So what if the new kids on the block wear different clothes and dye their hair blue...give them time to acclimate to our culture.

I rather spend my time laughing at frat-boy ricer twinkies....and ALL asians who desperately strive to be white...not just the "FOBs".

BTW...I'm a FOB...like from 25 years ago. No seriously...I escaped Vietnam on a fishing boat!

 

I think most people calling people FOB's aren't actually calling them FOB's but are using the name as a "ricer" kind of conotation. I don't know, don't listen to me. You're probably right about the whole ABC thing... but since it sounds like it's mostly Milpitas, I'm willing to bet they're mostly filipinos. hahahhaha!!!
