Ive seen that, its hilarious. They look like welders masks almost. I agree with you. Most make up comes with sunscreen in them now, so I don't know what they are worried about.

There are a couple tangents in there (such as debating his own FOBness) but for the most part, yes.

Hey Speed, are you talking about those total fase mask protector thingies like you would wear as protection when using a grinder, only tinted? If so I saw a woman weaing one of those in SoCal, and her freind was wearing a clear one. Crazy! The tinted ones, although still retarded in my view, at least make a little sence as they shield you from the sun... but why the ***e was her friend wearing a clear one? Next step, surgical masks for everyone!

that's one helluva rant

i've noticed that too. some even go as far as to wear gloves up to their elbows while driving. as your father said, it is for beauty: premature aging, freckles, "liver spots" from the sun, etc...i thinks it's part of the reason why asian women mature so well.

i wear sunscreen on a daily basis, but it doesn't prevent me from squinting my eyes (which causes wrinkles) when i'm outside. hence my big *** sun glasses.

oh, and i think FOBiness is cool.

ROFL! I live on the San Jose/Milpitas border and see tons of these things. We have taken to call these things Darth Vader masks and make the raspy breathing sound every time we see one. I totally agree with every part of this rant. But I'm white so I guess that my opinion doesn't count or I'm a racist

WOW, first I was confusing "face shields" with "surgical masks" (think SARS) until I saw that picture... holy cow that is wierd. Is it a religious thing or something? is it only the women? That's bizare.

On a side note... I grew up in Saratoga for the 1st 11 years of my life. I'm 22 now and wow, there is an asian invasion down there now. Some stores that I remember going to as a kid (weren't asian back then) now only have chinese store signs! No english in small letters or anything! We should be like Quebec Canada where they require all signs to have French and English... only in this case it would be English and ____ (what ever part of town you're in, it could be a lot of different languages.) Just a thought
