Orpheum Theater Question

My wife and daughter are going to see Wicked at the Orpheum Theater. They wanted to know if it's safe to walk from or to the Civic Center Bart Station in the late evenings? It looks like the Theater is smack right outside the CivicCenter Bart station accoding to the maps we're looking at, like half a city block or so walking distance. BART beats driving to SF and parking for that type of event.
Hoping anyone familiar who knows that area! Thx!

I used to live 1 block from there. Yes, its safe. If you take the right walkway out of bart (head west), its litterally outside the door to the orpheum. Less than 20 ft. Even if you take the wrong way out of bart, its a max of half a block.

The Civic center itself is just unclean, not unsafe. You'll be fine.

Make sure they use the restroom at the theater before they leave. BART has closed the restrooms in the stations due to "security concerns" and now the terminals are starting to smell like pee!!!

BART is by far the best way to go...parking around there is really tight.

Thanks for the input. Wanted to make sure it was safe and sounds like it is. The bathroom advise is good too.
