New and Improved BFGoodrichtires.com

Hey all,

I wanted to share something I have been working on the last 6 months for
BFGoodrich.

We relaunched a new look-and-feel for the BFGoodrich tires website today.

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com

This was not a total redesign, but a "reskin" where I moved all the
existing graphical elements and layouts into a new and refreshed visual
design that introduces BFGoodrich tires new brand and identity.

You have no idea how challenging it was to redo the visual look but keep
all the same image and layout sizes.

If you can't recall the old visual design you can see some screenshots here:

http://tinyurl.com/9a5jv
http://tinyurl.com/d25rr

The client is very happy and I hope this new visual reskin is a great
advancement for BFGoodrich tires online presence.

Below is the announcement BFGoodrich sent out today to its company and
partners.

-----------------------------------------

I am very excited to announce that the refreshed BFG site is now live at
www.bfgoodrichtires.com! Be sure to check it out.

A special thanks to all parties involved in making this refresh happen.
I think that the new look/feel is a great advancement for the brand
online and eager to see results.

Not only does the new site feature a visual look and feel that reflects the
brand's new branding guidelines, it also features enhancements that:

provide users with easier homepage access to tools that aid in the tire
purchase decision; showcase engaging, special-interest information in
the BFG Backstretch and Ask the Experts sections to keep enthusiasts
visiting the site multiple times; and strive to bring "crossover"
content to consumers from other performance driving categories in the
Ask the Experts' "Change you Style" module.

Some of the additional new content/features include:

- refreshed homepage style dial
- new homepage "hero" spotlight
- the Radial T/A Performance page
- the story of the Baja 1000 pre-runs in the BFG Backstretch section
- videos from last year's SEMA booth in the BFG Backstretch section
- the "BFG in the Pits" module that tells the story of the crews that
set up and run BFG's numerous racing events
- assorted series logos for the BFG-sponsored series
- a news announcements section on the Racing and Events page for BFG's
upcoming races and recent wins
- expanded content areas for the Ask the Experts stories, including pull
quotes
- quick access to recent Ask the Experts articles
- access to other style's Ask the Experts stories via the "Change your
Style" module

Possible you've got a bug in the javascript/page rendering. Sometimes I open the window and it doesn't load your navigation properly. The menu stays a gray color and the mouse over functionality breaks. Other than that, looks good man!

Do you like the label for the search field on the right side like it is or the left side?

Nice job on the site. I just bought a set of BFG's for my trailer last Friday.

If you do a recommended tire search for an 05 WRX, it tells you there aren't any.
