the hg's at full stiff are pretty stiff. That's the setting I've used in the past for track days, autocrosses, and all-tarmac stages. It's tough for me to recall stock WRX shocks, since I haven't driven those in a number of years.
As far as rallycross, hellZ yeah these are great! I think for rallycross classing purposes they'll put you in open4wd, but who cares? Get some proper dirt tires on there as well, and have a blast!
