If you had to pick one, which one would it be? just used for daily driving/commuting, nothing crazy.
Pick one, and why
87-91 E30

99-01 2.5RS Coupe

VW Golf v6

or
Datsun 510

I love my 2.5rs as a DD, its very fun to drive and never had a boring trip in it. Keep yourself entertained.
Buuuuutt if I were looking for a different feel than subaru, then the E30 it is. Still a lot of potential with the older bodies, I still like the look.

All are excellent cars... and the choice is more about what you want it for.
If I wanted a track car that had excellent balance, I'd take the E30.
A rally/rallyx car with great crash ratings and modern enough for DD, the RS.
A fun DD with spunk and the most modern euro luxureconobox, the Golf
An untamed tail happy RWD rooster tailing rally/rallyx car waiting to be caged and turned into a widebody engine transplanted monster, the 510.
