ain't nothing worse than driving the slow car when that happens. I also have a Ford Focus, and every so often i'm in it driving to work and the same thing happens to me. Most of the time i still win out but man if i was driving the Subie i would have burried those punks.

I feel ya.

It's funny, when I'm in my Legacy people don't know whether to flex on me or not. Mainly cause my car obviously doesn't sound or look stock since it's modded. So when people see my car they're like HUH?????......since they probably haven't seen a modded Legacy before, so they most likely don't have any idea if it has a turbo or not. Usually I'll just focus on my reaction time at the light to jump the gun on stupid ricers, seeing that my car is still just an EJ25.

You snooze you looze buddy. If you choose the warm bed rather than the cold car in the morning, that's your loss. If you ask nicely, maybe I won't take off with it. For once!

As for buying, Mike's car... wouldn't you love that. Already modified so you don't have to do anything to it. And we'd have matching car... cool!! That actually sounds pretty intriguing to me. Let me think about!

Actually, be nice to me (let me drive the WRX) more often, and maybe, just maybe, I'll really consider it. Plus, it wouldn't hurt if you can negotiate a reasonable price with Mike, just like you did for the sedona.

Didn't Mike already part out all the stuff in his car?

I always find that situation whenever I'm at work...I could be test driving a customer's riced out car around the block, and the kiddies will come out of the woodwork, it's unbelievable...and then, after my shift ends, I hop into either my WRX or Chevelle and they almost all disappear.

I mean sure, you'll get one or two rare exceptions, but I know I'm driving a big dog, I don't need to bark. Let the little chihuahuas make all the noise they want

Had my STi for 2 months now. Havn't had anyone challenging me yet. Even if people do, I wouldn't care cuz I usually don't race on fwy or streets. I only drive aggressively when I am really on-the-run.

This is one of the things I love about having the WRX. Most of the rice-children leave me alone now.

The only time I really mix it up these days is when some old fart in his Acura *L or Infiniti or M-less BMW desides to switch lanes to the open lane next to me so he can beat me out when the light changes. *cough*

Hahah too funny... because..

I had a saturn that I tinkered with. I knew it was crap. I was always trying to find other saturns on the road who'd mix it up because I just wanted to see how much faster than a stock saturn my POS had become. (Heck it was faster than way too many civics, haha).

But, alas, none would ever race. Every grandma w/ groceries looked at me w/ fear. Ever soccer mom flipped me off!

But 3 or 4 days after I got my WRX... a freakin Saturn, SL-1 at that (SOHC!) revved on me and "raced" me three times. I was still in break-in period so I never went over 4000rpm. He still got so roasted. The best part was that I had a passenger and he didn't. No, no... not because it might give him a weight advantage, but because he had no one in the car to laugh at him (poor guy) and I had someone in my car to laugh with me
