Angry Only When I'm Not In My Rex

These past week, I've been driving around in an Accord coupe instead of my REX. I've had no less than 3 stupid drivers flexin' on me on my way to and from work.
The first was an Integra on the San Mateo bridge around 10:30 at night. I'm just mindin' my own business and this integra starts high beaming me, wanting to race (my Accord is a bone-stock LX, just lowered).
Then on my way to work, the next day, a white 240sx w/ an exhaust revved on me sped off down Whipple (going towards Hesperian).
Finally, on my way home yesterday, some punk in a Celica found his b@lls and started flexin' on me. Does lowered Accord = attracting stupid a$$ ricers?! All I can think about was how nice it would be to be in my REX, downshift to 3rd, and let these punks stare at my debaged rear. But no, I had to make do w/ the 120hp my 96 Accord could muster up. This past week has taught me a lesson; "WRX, DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!!!"

Ignore children who drive on public roads. In return, you will receive:

1) No citations
2) No accidents
3) No civil lawsuits

Street racing is not real racing.

don't mind them...

Don't you just hate those rice racers. Ain't got nothin better to do than just flex on their own. And wouldn't you know it, they're quick to flex on you when you're in a Honda or Acura, making the quick assumption that you'll be down to race. But you know what, they don't think twice about flexin' on you when you're in the WRX. Why is that? Is it because they know that they'll get a fat a$$ beat down.

Why don't you put some mods in the Accord to prevent any future flexers? At least you'd be prepared for when it happens again. And you know it'll happen again. Ricers never quit flexin on each other.

This just goes to show how noncompetitive the subie community is. You don't ever see other subies flexin on each other. Nope, instead, you'll find other subies trying to get you to wave back at them.

Why aren't you driving the WRX?

Thing is... They probably woudn't flex on you if you were in your rex.

Don't pay any mind.

when I had my civic I would have people trying to race on me a couple times a day...literally.

It's hard to get used to the rex...I go by them and look at them expecting them to act stupid...nothing....they act like I'm not even there...it's wondeful...

Though I have had a few idiots. Funny thing is..now I have this curse...only grand ams and firebirds start crap with me...hmmm. Freakin stock wagon man....Leave me alone.

but it's 100x's better than with the civic...may she rest in peace.

I'd say yes.

Remember MadLibs? Replace "Accord" with "Civic", "Integra", etc. I used to have an Integra...

Let me guess, his girlfriend was in the car and he was tryin' to show off

OneManArmy- Look at the bright side, those stupid V8's probably just wasted a gallon of gas to flex on you...you should fee special

mrs.redrex- I wasn't driving the WRX because my wife has been waking up real early this week just to have first dibs on it (could this be you ). As far as modding the Accord, why not just let me buy Mike's car at MPJ

Dont feel bad same thing happens to me when I'am in my Grandam GT lowered with loud exhaust everyone will rev on me. Then when I'am in the Rex nobody wants to play except for Zo6's and vipers. Makes the drive home boring sometimes

Hmmm... Only people who ever seem to rev on me are hill billies in old, beat-up trucks. Same situation when I used to have my CRX and my MR2.
