Onemanarmy's Bear Valley Snowboard Adventure 2008

Looks like it's 8 heads so far! Kyle is still a maybe to make him "Client No. 9"
I'll bring my sleeping bag this time. I've always got it in my trunk anyway.
I'm down to grub up on some B-fast burritos! Hell! It'd prolly be pretty damn easy to whip up some of own own bomb-@$$ ones ourselves, too. Damn you, Justin! I'm gonna head downstairs to thrown one together now! Thanks for the idea, bruddah!
Oh, any preference on beer? Stella was the first to come to mind, so that's why I said it.
Are we gonna make our usual visit to SnowShoe Brewery, too? We doing a pony keg like we talked about on past trips? It's equivalent to about 7 cases(24-pk) of brew. They also have a 5-gal keg, which is like 4.5 cases of suds. Their website doesn't list prices, so I'll call later today.
Does Jordan still work for a beer distributor? I recall reading he had mad access! Yumm....

Jordan does work for Elixir. He is moving over to sales so next year we should have a hook up. Not this year.
I like the SSB keg idea but we should call if we really want one. Thompson probably the most popular. If we got a keg of the Old Man Winter or anything I think we'd all die.
We definitely should do one trip to the brewery. Maybe Friday or Sunday. If we don't do the keg I am a fan of many beers. The new Sierra Big Foot will knock you on your butt. Sam Adams. Guiness. Ales. Etc.
I know Justin likes stella.
I think we should just do our own breakfasts. And possibly do up some lunches. Get a grill going and do up some chicken at the mountain or something. Anyone got a grill they can bring?

Stella is good, Bass is good. And yea I'd say if we get a pony, Thompson would go over the best in the house. HAHAHAHA
Doing up our own breakfast sounds good to me. Lunch would work, maybe we just pick up some deli meat and bread/rolls. Bring some Mayo/Mustard what have you, some lettuce and crap for whoever needs it. I don't need to go all out for lunch. A quick sandwich would keep me going the rest of the day then play for a fat dinner. Deli meat stuff is pretty easy to pick up and for some one packet is just enough for 2 days. So I'd say if you want to go that route, you pick up your own deli meat and that would be yours for the 2 days.

I did the initial breakdown for a FULL size keg. They only do kegs on their 3 main brews:
> Snoweizen Wheat Ale
> Thompson Pale Ale
> Grizzly Brown Ale
Pony: $65 +tax; equals (82) 12-oz bottles or (62) pints <16-oz, duh?>
... so about 3.5 cases of brew
5-gal: $50 +tax; equals (53) 12-oz bottles
... just over 2 cases
*both require $50 cash deposit on keg
Looks like the Pony is the most bang for the buck. We save 4 or 5 bux per case compared to buying 3+ cases of suds.
Which one we getting?
I vote Thompson, but don't mind the other two.
Please, chime in. They need at least one FULL day of notice. I'd like to put our order in later tonite, but tomorrow morning might work, too. Anytime after tomorrow afternoon wouldn't be ready for pick-up till Sat, so please vote asap.
Btw, the lady I spoke to said it's merchants day at Bear, so a buncha the guys are out there right now.

Just got off the phone w/ Snowshoe Brewery. My earlier numbers on case-equivalents was incorrect... Sorry.

I think JRsWRX (Jon -or- is it.. John) should roll up w/ Jordan on Sat, too.
Kyle: How 'bout you? Come up Sat, too.
Sunday is supposed to NICE! Here's my weather prediction...
Fri: by the evening, spotty light snow flurries here & there
Sat: steady, but light snow showers throughout the day... maybe 4" by last chair, w/ continued snowfall overnite
Sun: wake up to 6" of freshies

What the hell? Is it National Visit Your Dentist Week or something? I had my check-up yesterday, too!

yeah John. Sounds like jordan is gonna start working at midnight so he can hammer out his route and head up for a half day. I'm sure he can swing by and get you or meet you at your place and ride up with you.
Or were you referring to John rolling w/ Jordan?
I'm confused. The visions of a keg of Thompson has me going a li'l loco.
Btw, I assume ya got w/ li'l Jeff & OK'ing his 2 buddies, right? I just wanna get our numbers figured out for our food & bev.
Oh, any word on Steven?
